Tour de Fat this Saturday, October 23, 2010

The New Belguim Brewing Company is bringing their country-wide
rolling bicycle tour and beer fest, the Tour de Fat, to L.A. this Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the L.A. State Historic Park located at 1245 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, CA, 90012.

A bicycle parade kicks off at 11:00 a.m. Wear a costume and/or dress up your bike. More beer soaked fun to follow.

New Belgium Brewery is partnering with local bike nonprofits to raise some FUNdage for C.I.C.L.E.org, the Bicycle Kitchen (La Bici Cocina), and the LACBC.

The park is located just yards away from the Chinatown station on the Metro Gold Line, it is also very close to Union Station – so a bus or train ride will be easy, cheap, and will keep you from struggling with car parking. Plus, driving a car to a beer-powered bicycle event can really suck sometimes!
